London Cinema

Going out to enjoy London cinema is one of those types of outings that is loved by families, friends, marrieds, singles, grandparents, children, men and women. Everyone has their favourite genres, their favourite actors and their all-time top ten favourite films.

All around London and its boroughs are all manner of cinemas. The biggest London Cinema chains include giant Odeon found all over the country and Curzon cinemas found in places like Mayfair, Soho and Chelsea.

There are brilliant little cinemas scattered throughout the city with different specialities. The Prince Charles Cinema off of Leicester Square, for example, shows oldies and indies downstairs at bargain prices while upstairs shows current blockbusters.

There are cinemas in London that specialise in sci-fi flicks, classics, foreign language and indies and London plays host to its own film festivals. Some cinemas serve the classic popcorn and sweets, while other are more like dinner theatre with table service. Some theatres have reclining seats and other have love seats where you can cuddle up with someone special.

Prices for the more mainstream theatres are often quite pricey so look for mid-week and matinee discounted prices and specials associated with mobile providers like Orange.
